The Stillwater Public Library has received a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the Institute of Museum and Library Services to provide programming to address ways to reduce stress.

Join community members online to discuss shared experiences and coping strategies for dealing with stress, anxiety, and loneliness during the pandemic. Each discussion will begin with conversation leaders discussing the challenges they have had during the pandemic and ways they are dealing with them. A health professional will be in attendance to help answer any questions that arise during the conversation, but the primary focus of the program will be participants joining in the discussion.

Space is limited and registration is required. Sign-up here. The sessions include:

Seniors in Isolation: Tues. Feb. 2 @ 2-3 pm

Strengthening Relationships: Tues. Feb. 9 @ 6-7 pm

Families and Parenting: Thurs. Feb. 25 @ 6:30-7:30 pm

Supporting Employees: Thurs. March 4 @ 12-1 pm (rescheduled from Feb. 18)

Attendees will receive a link to join the online conversation via Zoom prior to the program. Accommodations can be made if you don't have access to the internet or a device. Please direct questions to the Library's Help Desk at (405) 372-3633 x8106, or email askalibrarian@stillwater.org.
