LOCAL NEWS AND UPDATES

VACCINATION INFORMATION
  • The Oklahoma State Health Department's Vaccine Information Page - Includes the state's vaccination plan, FAQs, and videos for getting registered on the vaccination scheduling portal and demonstrating how to use the portal to book an appointment.
  • Register on the COVID Vaccination Portal - You must be an Oklahoma state resident to use the portal. They are currently on Phase 4 of the distribution plan, which includes all Oklahomans 16 years of age and older as specified in the Governor's 3rd executive order. The state has chosen an overlapping approach to Oklahoma’s COVID vaccination plan. So, the vaccine is still available to those included in earlier phases.
  • CDC's COVID-19 Vaccine Page - Answers questions about safety, effectiveness, and more.
  • 211 - Oklahomans in need of assistance using the portal can get over the phone guidance from 211. They can also refer your information to the health dept. to eventually contact you for a vaccine, but it can take several weeks. They cannot schedule an appointment for you.
  • Oklahoma Vaccine Alerts - An OK citizen has created a text/email alert system that you can register to use for free. There's also a live map showing available appointments. Note: The Vaccine Alerts website is in no way connected to the Oklahoma State Health Dept., nor can the agency verify the accuracy of the information contained within it.
