Library Trust Board

In accordance with the Library Trust Charter and the Bylaws of the Stillwater Public Library Trust, the Stillwater Public Library Trust receives and administers contributions for the benefit of the Stillwater Public Library. The board consists of five appointed members-two by the Commission, two by the Library Board, and one by the Friends.  View meeting dates and agendas.

Donate to the Library Trust

The Stillwater Public Library Trust, created in 1984, encourages private donations to the Stillwater Public Library.

When you or your business contributes to the Trust, you are ensuring the growth, security and perpetuity of the Stillwater Public Library by supporting programs, collections and services that cannot be financed through the Library's normal operating budget. Your support will benefit members of our community and your family for generations to come.

Gifts to the Stillwater Public Library Trust are tax-deductible up to the limits set by federal law. Please consult your financial advisor. Donations via a PayPal transaction are reported to the library every two weeks. If you would like an acknowledgment letter for tax purposes or a letter to be sent to an honoree sooner than two weeks, please notify the Business Office of your PayPal donation.

Donation Recognition

Donations can be made privately or publicly at your wish. If made publicly, donations will be recognized as follows:

Up to $500 - Book of Honor

$501 to $999 - Framed List

$1,000 to $2,499 - Bronze Plaque

$2,500 to $4,999 - Donor Plaque on Book Stacks or Other Equipment

$5,000  to $9,999 - Donor Plaque on Major Furnishing or Special Equipment

$10,000 to $19,999 - Donor Plaque on Public Service Desk, Other Area, or Program Supporter

$20,000 to $49,999 - Donor Plaque on Conference Room

$50,000 and Up - Donor Plaque on Major Room or Other Appropriate Recognition
