Winter Reading 2022: Read, Learn, Play, Win!
The library provides a winter reading program for ALL AGES - children, teens, and adults! This year's program features a Bingo reading and activity card for each age group.
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Winter Reading runs from November 21, 2022, through December 31, 2022
- Register online and pick up a Bingo card in the library, or print one out at home.
- All ages are invited to participate!
- Children's Bingo Card
- Teen Bingo Card (6th grade and up)
- Adult Bingo Card (18+)
PRIZES
- Small prizes (a total of 4) will be given out for each completed "Bingo"
- Examples include coupons for local restaurants & other misc. trinkets
- A larger prize and an entry into the grand prize drawing will be given for a Blackout Bingo
- Kids & teens will pick a free book from the book cart
- Adults will pick a free book from the book cart or get a coupon for one free book from the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale.
- Grand prize
- There will be one grand prize drawing for each age group - kids, teens, and adult
- The grand prize winners will receive a $50 gift card to the local bookstore of their choice
BINGO TIPS
- Some activities can fulfill multiple spots. For example, reading an award-winning book recommended by a librarian while traveling = 3 squares!
- Explore the "Research" section of the library website to find databases like Ancestry & Pronunciator or use Ebsco or Overdrive to find magazines about hobbies.
- When in doubt ask a librarian!
